Hello,
our environment is formed by a Lync infrastracture and several Polycom VVX and Trio.
All Polycom devices are configured as "Lync Profile".
Is it supported and reccomended use the Trio devices (powered by PoE) connected to a laptop to join Lync meetings as use it as a Lync speaker?
Is it needed some special configuration in this scenario?
Thanks.

Hello Enrico,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The Trio, if connected with a USB cable, can be a Speaker and Microphone for a PC or Mac connected to it.
If set to Skype USB Mode the Call controls should appear if connected to a PC using a Windows PC.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
