Trio Current software version: 5.5.3.3441

When using the People+ Content IP application to present content from a local device via the USB there presentation has considerable lag and choppiness. Presenting video is completely out of the question. And even slide presentations have a few second delay. I have read that the visual+ only supports 5 fps, is this accurate? I find it had to believe that a UC device would not be able to support a more stable and professional content presentation.

What I find interesting is that content sharing is more stable and about 98% more responsive when using the wireless display feature from a computer to the Trio. Why does the wireless presentation work more than a wired connected USB device?

Hello @CSTech,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The 5 FPS limitation you spoke about is in regards with RPD.

USB should be faster but we may need to look at this in Support.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
