Trios and Visual+ - 5.9.0.11421

Updater Signature - Release

For some reason, the default layout keeps going back to Auto with Self-View on. I have the below settings in the configuration, but when I start a new phone call, I have to go back into Layout and change it back to Full Screen which is what my staff prefers.

video.callMode.default="audio"
video.codecPref.H261="8"
video.codecPref.H263="7"
video.codecPref.H2631998="5"
video.codecPref.H264.packetizationMode0="6"
video.codecPref.Xdata="9"
video.codecPref.XUlpFecUC="10"
video.conf.displayLayout.autoPreference="FullScreen"
video.localCameraView.idleState="0"
video.localCameraView.userControl="PerSession"
video.screenModeFS="full"

After I make the changes directly on the Trio, I can hang up, start another conference call, and it's back to Auto and Self-View again. Any ideas why the layout is not sticking?

Thank you so much.

Hello @Kevin_A ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

I suggest you upgrade to a currently supported version like UC SOftware 5.9.1 Rev AB or 5.9.1 Rev AA and if it still fails to open a ticket.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Hi, Steffen.

I ended up upgrading to the latest UC Software, and when I did, my Trio no longer connected to our exchange calendar. It kept saying "Connecting to Exchange Calendar", and have a couple minutes, it would ask to put in the username and password again.

I would put them both in, it would say signed in, and "Connecting to Exchange Calendar", and then it would ask for the credentials again.

I did all this at the end of the work day and ended up restoring the backup I made before attempting, as there are a lot of meetings today, so I had to make sure the phone was up and running.

We just ordered three more Trios and Visual Pros, and one of them will be a test unit for me moving forward. Any thoughts and why the exchange calendar wouldn't connect, or would you have needed to see the logs?

Thanks.

Hello @Kevin_A ,

Since UC Software 5.9.1 we support OAuth 2.0. This would need to be enabled in your organisation.

I would need to see logs but as a Poly employee, I am unable to provide free support via the community.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
