[Software] CCX & Trio UC Software 7.1.4

Hello all,

 

we have released UC Software 7.1.4 for the Poly CCX range and Poly C60 as follows:

 

Trio C60 7.1.4.0201
CCX 400 7.1.4.0200
CCX 500 7.1.4.0200
CCX 600 7.1.4.0200

 

The Trio 8800 & 8500 is no longer supported for use with Microsoft Teams as explained  >here< and the latest Skype for Business version is 5.9.5!

What’s New


Poly CCX UC Software 7.1.4 is a release for OpenSIP, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and Zoom. These release notes include information on important field fixes and the following new feature:

 

  • Microsoft Teams Enhancements


Poly frequently provides software updates with new features and recommends that you regularly update the software on your Poly CCX business media phones for the best performance and experience.


Microsoft Teams Enhancements


This release supports Teams app version 1449/1.0.94.2021112302 APK 3B for Poly CCX 400, CCX 500, and CCX 600 business media phones, which include system improvements. For more information, see What's new in Microsoft Teams

The above software is hosted via the TAC and not on the Poly Support page and comes with the Microsoft Teams App APK# 3C 1449/1.0.94.2021121302 2021712020

Fixes:

 

  • Multiple ANR Fixes – suppresses  ”Teams isn’t responding” message and restarts the Teams app when in a bad state
  • Sleep Mode – will make phone coming out of sleep faster (performance improvement)

 

New Feature since Poly UC Software 7.1.3

 

Due to the fact that the Poly CCX Phones do not have a physical dialpad our Partner, Microsoft added the TalkBack feature to help visually impaired users. Now with Microsoft talk back feature offers visual impaired Teams users a solution that reads everything on the screen using google speech engine.

 

To enable navigate to:

 

  • Settings > Device Settings > Accessibility > Enable Accessibility Settings and then enable TalkBack
