Hi All,

We have setup Team-Call group in Skype client. Multiple users using Polycom VVX411 (5.9.5.0614)

are members of this group. When call comes for main user all phones of the team members ring, this part works OK.

We want phones to only flash and not ring for any Team-call group calls. We tried using 'Ringtones and Sounds' setting in Skpe client. We selected My team> ringtone>none

However this does not work and the phone always rings for Team-Call Group.

Any pointers to get this working will be appreciated

Thanks

Hello @Hopper ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

I am quite sure, to my personal knowledge, that is is working as designed.

We had >here< back in 2017 a user and the recommendation was to open a Feature Request.

In addition, the Skype for Business user guide >here> states:

  • Click the Ring your team-call group after this many seconds drop-down menu to determine when your contacts' phones ring.
Simultaneous ringing is enabled for all assigned team-call members. If your line receives an incoming call, everyone in the team-call group’s phone rings.

If you want to officially confirm this then you would need to raise a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
