Removing Corporate Directory and local contacts from Trio 8800



We've had some feedback from end users that when using the conference phones they would like to have 'corporate directory' and 'local' contacts removed as people are selecting these rather than the 'contacts' option. We use a cloud skype provision so contacts are actually held in the 'contacts' option.


Ive checked and I cant see any option to remove these options. 


Any thought/suggestions would be appreciated?

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Running a Trio in Skype for Business mode and a current software, aka at present 5.5.4, will usually not show these.


When I press contacts I only see the Skype contacts so maybe this is something in your own configuration ?


Have you checked your backup?


Are you using"1" as an example ?
