During lockdown we had to renew our root domain cert, which may or may not be related to this issue. When we slowly started coming back to site, when these phones were rebooted they would not sign into SfB on prem.

 

We have older type Polycom phones and these are fine, i have been through support forums and looking how to workaround the certificate (if it is that) and im at an impasse. I upgraded the firmware to the latest, with no joy there either. I have attached the log which shows SSL errors. These phones all worked out the box when we first got them but now all of them when rebooted do not sign in. Oh and we have a site powerdown in 2 weeks!.

 

Any help would be really appreciated as im pulling my hair out (whats left!).

If this is urgent please work with your Poly Reseller GECDF-ScanSource UK Ltd who sold this VVX back in 5/14/2018


In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

As the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

If anyone else has this issue with on Prem, i needed to downgrade or upgrade depending on the handsets to version 5.4.5.8726M. It signed in and worked a charm after that.
