Hello @all,

we have a Polycom Trio 8800 system with UC Software version: 5.9.0.11398.

Current problem:
We have only one option to change the sound settings with + or - and this take effect for speaker volume and also for system sounds.

My colleague changed the volume to 60 percent but the system sound (for example restart sound or conference reminder sound is to loud).

I checked the forum for some possibilities but I only found the way to mute the sound of the volume buttons <test up.volumeChangeTone.enabled="0" />

Is it also possible to set a solid value / fix sound level for the system sounds / conference reminder?

This would be very important for our user satisfaction. I hope for your assistance 🙂

Best regards
Roman

Hello @MonoPoly ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

I am aware of an issue with the Meeting reminder not following the set Volume. We are tracking this internally as EN-142940

For the Reboot, you can use this up.rebootSoundEnabled="0"

For the restart, there is no parameter. This would need a feature request:

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change aka feature request to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

I suggest you get your issue into support

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
