Poly VVX 401 5.9.0 Upgrade

Hello,

I've been working on upgrading roughly 25 Poly VVX 401 handsets from 5.9.0.9373 to 5.9.7.3480. The firmware upgrades, but then downgrades roughly 24 hours later. The Poly CCX 401 devices are registered to Microsoft Teams and are on the skype for business platform. The O365 tenant is Microsoft Teams. I've gone through compatibility matrix's, checked MS teams documentation and Poly's. I can't tell if there is another supported firmware version for the Poly 401 phones with MS Teams or if these devices need to convert as MS Teams SIP Gateway devices, or perhaps the Poly 401 phones are retired for MS Teams. Anyone else run into this?

Hello @Wahl ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.
I can only recommend checking the Community FAq and/or searching for similar posts

From our FAQ:

Feb 02, 2016 Question: How can I prevent a Poly Phone to be downgraded/upgraded or change settings automatically via Skype for Business and/or Microsoft Teams 3PIP gateway?

Resolution: For Skype for Busines please download, unpack and import the attached LyncProvisionDeviceParams. For Microsoft Teams 3PIP gateway in addition please set the EnableDeviceUpdate to false as explained => here <=
