I'm using flexible line key customization as outlined here:

https://community.polycom.com/t5/Microsoft-UC-Platforms/FAQ-Changing-re-assign-the-appearance-of-Lin...

This is on VVX 250 phones in S4B mode. It works nicely, however there seems to be a difference in how the entries are presented after they have been selected from the directory:

- Actual Skype for Business users with SIP address are shown with the display name

- Contact objects appear only with the number and not the display name

The interesting point is that both entries appear the same way when you pick them from the address book during line key customization but then they show up differently on the assigned key.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this, so that contacts are shown with the display name instead?

Hello @RobbG ,

Welcome back to the Poly community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) or reply(s) to them => here <= are still open/pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provide some form of feedback or answer.

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently. Please do not simply mark them without any type of feedback.

For your new issue, it would be great if the minimum requested Information outlined in both the ReadMe1st or FAQ could be provided.

A good start is always providing the currently used software version.

In regards to the actual issue, I seem to remember that we do get the information on the contacts like this from Microsoft. From memory again they did not want to change this so we added in UC Software 5.8.0 or later:

<up up.queryContactInfo="1" />

I suggest you give this a try and then get back to the community.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
