Default to Full Screen Layout in 5.5.2.11338

I have several RealPresence Trio 8800 Collaboration Kits set up that we use for Skype for Business calls. 

 

I believe this has been asked for a previous software version, but is it possible to configure the video to default to "full screen" layout instead of "auto" on version 5.5.2.11338?

hi Tim589,

To get  a neater  sharing of "Present Program." from a Microsoft client , it is recommended to share the Program window as Full-Screen with only one active monitor. This will provide a full-image of content on the Polycom Trio Collaboration Solution and avoid the participants from seeing email and IM notifications during the presentation.

The reason for this is that the "Present Programs" feature looks at the  actual 'real-estate' or available desktop space. So, when sharing the Program window, the system considers the window size and does not automatically stretch, shrink or alter the program window to fit the entire screen.

Hello Tim,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

At present there is no such option to fix this and it has to be manually adjusted. 

 

You would need to raise this as a feature request.
