When we do a consultative transfer, if that party doesn't answer, we can't complete the transfer- the transfer softkey never appears. This requires haning up the consult call, resuming the original call, and doing a blind transfer. This is very awkward. Is there a way to get the transfer softkey to appear as soon as the consult call starts?
Hello tjcornish,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I am not aware of this so if you believe you found a bug please open this with support.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

----------------I’ve had the same issue but assumed it wasn’t an option as the skype client can’t do it, I have found that if I set voIpProt.SIP.allowTransferOnProceeding to 1, it shows the transfer button but cuts off when you use it, I haven’t looked into this to see if this is a problem with my setup or a sip only feature. To add voIpProt.SIP.allowTransferOnProceeding defaults to 1 in SIP mode and 0 in skype mode.
