Background:
-O365 w/ MFA enabled
-Windows 10 64bit
-Skype for Business 2016 (16.0.9126.2259 32bit)
-BToE version 3.7.0.0
-Polycom VVX601
-UC Software 5.7.0.14430 (also tried with with 5.8.0.1 and a newer BToE version)
-IP Mode: IPv4
-Connection type: Wall to phone, phone to PC
I cannot seem to sign into my Polycom phone with BToE if my account has MFA enabled. When I sign into Skype, Skype asks for my password to pass to the phone and after I type it in, the phone tries to sign in (it says signing in as ...) but it times out. I can sign into my phone via web sign-in, but I want to use BToE. BToE on both my computer and phone says that it is paired.
I setup an app password on my account, signed into Skype but it still would not sign into the phone. When I type in my app password, the phone fails out quickly and gives me an error ("Skype for Business authentication failed. Sign in again"). I then proceed to type my password and again, it sits and hangs.
I created a dummy account without MFA, signed into Skype and BToE signed me into the phone no problem.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Jeff

----------------Hello @SteffenBaierUK,
Thank you for your response.
Just to be clear, Microsoft MFA (at least how we set it up) does not involve AD FS. However, is this a blanket statement that Polycom phones do not support modern multi factor authentication of any kind?
Sincerely,
Jeff
