Hello,

I just bought a Poly CCX 600 as a test device for a client's Teams deployment.  Poly advertises it as the "executive phone" with a large 7-inch screen, top of the line in the CCX series.  And there are no hard buttons to press, all touch screen.  Neat!

So, imagine my surprise when I went to dial out using the speakerphone, and the dialpad on the screen is actually smaller (I measured) than the one on my iPhone X.  Increasing the size of the font in Settings / Device Settings / Accessibility did not change the font or size layout of the dialpad.

There's a ton of blank space on the screen around the dialpad.  Is there not a way to increase the size of the dialpad?  If not, this will be a hard pass for deployment until it's a more reasonable size.

Hard dialpad buttons would have eliminated this problem.

Hello Steffan,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I understand that Microsoft is providing the Teams client APK.  What I'm surprised about is that the dialpad size is so small, and this is apparently what it is supposed to look like.  Given Poly has committed to hard button free hardware design for its desk phones, I'd consider this a concern as this is one of the two things a phone is really used for - making and receiving calls - and if it's hard to read the dialpad when the device is at arm's length, that's a problem.  I don't think my message to Microsoft, as a single user, will have as much impact as the B2B relationship Poly has, so pass it along if possible.

In better news, the dialpad is slightly larger if you tap "Calls" first.

Hello @jszeglin ,

You may overestimate the power Poly has when suggesting features to our Partner Microsoft.

As you are a user please check this new FAQ section here:
