I am finally setting up a provisioning server via FTP for a very basic global configuration for all the phones (supress the warning light, enable web server, disable DND".

Communication and authentication with the FTP server via DHCP options is working, however when I try to specify the CONFIG_FILES paramter within 00000000.cfg:

CONFIG_FILES="shared.cfg"

The phone does not seem to set the parameters set in the shared.cfg file.

Question:  Where does the shared.cfg file need to be located?  In the same directory as 00000000.cfg?

Thank you

Ok scratch that question.... it looks like something else is the problem and not the location of the shared.cfg file.

Hello Karnov,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Any files specified within the config_files section need to be in the root directory or you need to add the location\ in front of it.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
