Afternoon all,

I'm doing some work on a Polycom VBP-5300, trying to secure the device after we noted that it had been compromised. It appears that somewhere along the way the box gained a set of credentials, with the username "admin", that allowed it to be used as a SSH proxy by unauthorized users. I've enabled the management interface and segmented it, so it's been fine since. Today I attempted to log in, to verify the syslog is configured correctly, and all I get out of it is "Your Session Has Expired" at the bottom of the log in box, even without logging in. This persists through a reboot. According to the message log, the username is being authenticated, but nothing occurs.

I was able to access the web configuration by editing boa_defs.conf and turning off the session management, but I can't find any information on if it's trying to store sessions somewhere strange and the fs is filled, or what the problem is. This was not a problem with the appliance before. HTTP, or HTTPS is makes no difference.

Just curious if anyone else has run into this, or has any idea what I may have hosed up that's led to this happening.
