Hi there, my company uses the DMA 7000 & each user is assigned to a conference room with a room ID & dial in details. Under edit conference room details we have an option to input the 'chairperson & conference' passcode.

Is it possible to set a different passcode for the chairperson & conference passcode.

Meeting scenario :

  • Chairperson sent out his dial in details to to different participants with the conference passcode
  • participant arrive earlier & participants dial in & key in the conference passcode
  • since chairperson has not started the meeting, participants are put on 'hold on a splash scrren'
  • chairperson arrive & enter his chairperson passcode to start the meeting bringing in all participant who have joined earlier using the conference code provided

it is something like a moderator & particpant password.. is this possible?

Did you try to use "Conference Requires Chairperson" option? It looks as just you want.

There are two way to  enabled this option:

If using existing RMX conference profile: RMX -> Conference Profiles -> {Profile} -> Profile Properties -> IVR

If configuring conference template directly in DMA: Conference Templates -> {Template} -> RMX Conference IVR

Hope this could help

WBR,

Mike
