Hello all,

I am having an issue dialing out from either an HDX codec or a CMA-D client to an endpoint located behind a Tandberg VCS Expressway. These endpoints are registered to a CMA 4000 then to a V2IU / VBP to the outside. The log from our VBP shows that the Q.931 signaling is forwarded, but the call is immediately ended by the remote destination. My client on the Tandberg side sees the connection coming in, but is dropped due to an "unknown error". I'm looking for any assistance on this, as this client as other customers using Polycom VBP and CMA configs that dial in successfully, so I don't think the issue is him. I feel like we're not sending the right data or dial string or something. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-Brian

Brian,

Please review the VBP attachement I have included to make sure your VBP has the same dial string alias modiciation rules in place. I would also recommend upgrading the VBP to the latest code release.
