Certificate validation error signing in with RP Mobile for Android tablet

Hello to everyone.

I work at Naturgy, where all the meeting rooms are equiped with Polycom videoconference devices. I am trying to setup a new device branded Röth&Myers, model Easyconf hd8, that runs Android 5.1. I have installed the Polycom RPM for Android tablet and set up the H.323 configuration fields such as: Gatekeeper IP address, name, extension. When trying to sign in, i get an error related to "local certificate validation". Can you tell what do i need to make the app work within our corporation? Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Do you know if you are using a certificate issued from your company's CA on the RPRM? The error could be you are missing a root certificate if the RPRM is using a company issued certificate. Or if the RPRM is still using the default self-signed certificate, RPM could be complaining as self-signed certs are not trusted.
