CMA-D Cannot search GAB - room systems search OK though, CMA 6.0 & CMA-D 5.2.3
It did work but mysteriously has stopped so someone changed something... but what? User is an AD signed in , not a local account.
You can try to look at what is the default directory. Maybe someone changed it from "all" to "none".
Or if your CMA-D account is associated to a dull group.
I have similar issue, However, its a new install and Users are local user who can not see any GAB entries ?
HDXs get GAB entries fine but CMA desktop doesn't get the GAB entries.
Not certain yet but this may have resolved the issue:
Log into CMA as Admin user
Go to Admin / Server Settings / Directory setup
In the Directory page ensure that Include Dynamically Managed devices in the Global Address Book is selected and click update
Guest Book entries should also be enabled
