I am trying to load a new server certificate onto my Resource Manager from my entereprise CA. I consistently get the message "Failed to update the certificate store".

I have managed to add the Trusted Root CA and Trusted Intermediate CA but cannot get the Resource Manager to accept a server certificate. I have tried both SHA256 and SHA1 algorithms, DER and Base-64 encoded, uploading and copy & pasting to Resource Manager.

Has anyone else had this issue - and found a solution?

Moony,

did you try to make sure the RPRM certificate has both client and server extensions loaded from the certificate template? If you are using the default webserver template from Microsoft, this does not have the client extensions loaded. You will have to create a new template that does include these.

Hello Moony,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
