Hello - If we have a VTX 1000 conf phone connected to a Vortex EF2280, will the mics on the VTX 1000 still be active? Or, does attaching it to the EF2280 mute the VTX 1000 and the outrider remote mics of the VTX 1000?

Unfortunately no, when you attach a VTX1000 to a Vortex EF22xx, the built in microphone and speaker of the VTX 1000 will be disabled.
