QDX 6000 - no menu/directory

Unit has video as it shows local camera feed. No menu or directory will display at startup, and light on front of unit continually blinks. Seems to be an issue with the software loading correctly. Has anyone experienced this behavior? Thanks.

Are you using VGA out for your monitor? If so you will need to use the S-Video, Composite, or Component port listed in the one box for monitor one.

We are using composite out to the televsision. This unit has been in operation for roughly two years, just started acting up yesterday. The light on the front of the unit constantly blinks even after the time it would normally have loaded up, so I am curious if it is a software issue.

Have you tired a factory reset? You can do this by turn on the unit and holding do the reset button for 15 seconds in the front flip down panel. This will reset all settings so you will need to the QDX back up. This might fix any issue your are having with the software.
