Polycom Audio Conference unit lifespan

May I know what are the possible reasons why an Audio Conference unit's lifespan is shortened? Some units will only have a year and the display is already faulty.

Hello Kelvin,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Would you be able to tell more details about what Polycom product you are using?

We would expect any of our products to last for many years if they are used within their specification.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Without knowing anything else about how you have it configured my first thing that comes to mind is overheating. Do you have them in a cabinet? is it well vented?
