Group 700 w/ Stereo Speaker Kit local speaker output/amplification

Hello,

I am wondering if my Group 700 Series unit with the Stereo Speaker Kit is capable of outputting the local/near speaker's voice to our local meeting area.

Our system is set up as the hub for our all hands meetings, hleld in a large, open area in our office. We would like to be able to amplify the local speaker's voice through the Stereo Surround Kit, as well as transmit it to those in other locations.

Our current setup involves a Revolabs microphone kit wired around the Group Seires unit directly to the speakers. This solution has gone through various permutations, and it has never quite worked as intended.

Is there any configuration setting that allows the audio captured with the local Realpresence microphone to be output, without delay or echo, to the local audience as well as those listening in? If not, I would love any suggestions on how to achieve this goal. Am open to integrating other systems to make this work.

Thanks for the help!

If the question is can the GS 700 support local audio reinforcement, no.  You will need to talk to your integrator but the solution for that would be to use a Polycom SoundStructure and that can use the Polycom digital microphone arrays, tabletop and ceiling, it can use your RevoLabs microphones and it can connect via the CLink 2 interface to the RealPresence Group Series systems.  It is recommended that the SoundStructure be installed by a trained and qualified audio engineer to be certain it meets your, and your space's, requirements.

Thanks for the input. As you mentioned, it looks like we will need additional hardware to accomplish what we would like to do.
