Hello, we have Trio 8800 with Visual+. We recently deployed the Polycom Content App both on Windows and Mac and it's working fine. We do not like only one thing: when a client is connected and sharing content, if another client initiates a connection to the same device, the first one is kicked out. It should be like when connecting with AirPlay, in that case the confirmation for the connection is required on the Trio. Am I missing something or is the feature really missing?
Hello @maurice77 ,
Welcome back to the Poly Community.
The basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain the below.
This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.
As a reminder the basic information asked for:
UC Software 4.0.0 or later via the Web Interface Utilities > Phone Backup & Restore > Phone Backup > Phone Backup. Please rename into .TXT or Zip the file to attach.
Since UC Software 5.9.0 simply provide this via the Web Interface Diagnostics > Download Support Information Package
Whilst providing some of these details may not directly impact any possible answer the community can provide, it does enable Poly to have an overview of the current software used. In addition, providing all details at the same time allows us to check logs or look up potential support partners if an issue needs to come into support. It also enables us to verify the entitlement for using features.
No backup is attached so we are not sure how you set up Airplay as an example.
Since UC Software 5.8.0 we support content.ppcipServer.authType=passcode (default is “none”).
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello Steffen,
thank you for your answer. With this setting enabled I am prompted to insert the security code before connecting, and it's fine. Now, imagine that the Trio is attending a call (for example a MS Teams meeting, we since we have RealConnect working), and I'd like to "inject" content in the meeting from my laptop using the app... in that moment, the connected display will be showing the other participants' cameras and will not be on the "desktop", so the security code will not be visible and I will not be able to connect.
Before activating the security code we had a similar problem with the IP address (visible on the desktop but not visible during a call) but we solved telling users to check the IP on the trio's display tapping on the hamburger button... but about the security code, I am not aware of another place to find it besides the poly's desktop...I found googling this setting that shoud let me decide the security code:
content.ppcipServer.meetingPassword
but I cannot find it in the PDMS-E to be added... it seems not existing anymore
fw 5.9.0.11421
edit: the security code is near the IP address when tapping on the hamburger - never seen that before
Hello @maurice77 ,

----------------Hello Steffen,
as said in the previous edited post, the security code is mentioned next to the IP address when tapping on the hamburger button in the trio's desktop (see image)
In this way users in the room are always able to start screen sharing using the content app
Thanks
