Hello,

we have an RMX1500 with 15 Videoports.

i want to reserve ALL ports for a conference but i can only block 5. If i want to block more, i only get the above error message.

In addition, if i block 5 possible resources, i am still able to create a new different conference.

How can i block all resources for one conference in the reservations?

Hi,

no, we have an old CMA. But we are not booking resources with the CMA. Usualy, we are not in the need for that.

Hello Richard Schmidt,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi,

thanks alot for your response.

here are the requested infos:

                                        CMA: 5.5.0.ER19

                                        RMX: 7.2.1.25

i hope that this will suffice.

Hello Richard,

Your CMA is running a completely unpatched software and you should really look into getting this on the latest Patch level.

A similar situation for your RMX as 7.2.2 is the latest for this.

I suggest you look on our support page for the release notes for the latest available versions and then consider upgrading.

would new patch work for him?

Patches only carry new add on features introdued by OEM against older one but it can not change or impact basic features of product/server.

A new patch can be work if it is known issue which have hot fix in new version.

Hello Yash Pal,

it would be great if you would follow up your own post's for this and your other username as I have reminded you within this and other Polycom communities.

Failing to do so will not help anyone else and many of your original post’s indicated service affecting issues so I doubt the systems are still in that state.

In order to comment on your latest reply this user is using the GA Version of CMA 5.5 and has not applied any of the available Patches from our support page.

The latest publicly available would be patch 5 which list’s in its release notes:

  • Scheduling of multiple overlapping conferences that may be competing for bandwidth using an RMX fails with “ Insufficient MCU Resources”
