I am trying to troubleshoot an issue when I listen to my headset.  I frequently change between listening to music and being on calls on Teams.  I have the recent issue is my headset will say "Mute On" when I'm done with a call (fine) but then it doesn't change back to the stereo quality music.  The only way I can get it to go back to stereo is to disable the headset mic in the sound control panel.  I don't want to have to do that as I never had to in the past and it will be frustrating every time I have a call or finish one.  Did a recent update mess with the mic settings?  For reference:

 

Headset Software: 0.0.787.4266

BT700 dongle: 0.0.550.3389

I'm facing the same issue. Whenever any application is using my mic, the sound quality turns mono, then it switches back to stereo only when I change my default mic to any other.
