Voyager 5200 UC Reduced Range - any fixes

I have a Voyager 5200 UC that I really like.  In recent weeks, I have noticed my range is much reduced.  Straight line with no obstructions of less than 25 feet.  I have reset to factory settings and made sure I have the latest firmware.  Anyfixes?

The just released update to the BT700 dongle makes the connection very spotty and the connection is very unstable.  It was bad at times before, but now is unusable.  Please fix this.
