Savi 8240 & Grandstream GXP 2170 2 to 3 second delay whaen call-answer button is pressed

Hello,

I have a Savi 8240 setup with a Grandstream GXP 2170. I have an issue where answering calls are delayed by 2 to 3 seconds after the 8240 call answer button is pressed.

At Poly tech support's recommendation, I am using APD-80 and 85638-01 cables as well.

Any help in resolving this would be appreciated.

Thank you

Dan

Re: Savi 8240 & Grandstream GXP 2170 2 to 3 second delay whaen call-answer button is pressed

Hello,

In addition to the description of the issue, I also discovered that when the call answer button is pressed, the 8240's deskphone light urns green to answer, goes off, then yellow, then back to green. Once it gets back to green is when the caller can hear the person who answered the call and vice versa.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Dan

Hello @dfad123

Welcome back to the Poly community.

I would recommend updating the firmware of the headset and base to the latest version and see if that helps in improving the situation.

In addition to this, Please check the settings under Plantronics Hub app - Headset to PC radio link should be set to always active

Also default line should be set to Desk phone.

If the issue persists, please raise a ticket with our support by visiting this link
