How can I turn off the annoying 'Incoming Call' voice on my Voyager 5200 series bluetooth ear/headse

The "incoming call, answer or reject" message is very unhelpful to me due to the nature of my work, as it constantly interrupts in very short sequences and voices 'over' the caller so I miss vital information - it also blocks them hearing me.

Even if I 'reject' the incoming call, it does not stop, as if the caller rings back they are prioritised.

My workplace system enables me to see and be aware of incoming calls and we have voicemail so this 'reminder' is more than useless. In fact, I can't imagine who would need it, but whatever.

I've read the 'manual' and online information, it suggests downloading something but when I get to the suggested pages the choices are not clear.

Anyone know how to do this?

I also do not care if it turns other voice messages off. I don't need any of them but this is the one which actively makes my job harder, sometimes impossible.

To turn off the Incoming Call voice on your Voyager 5200 series Bluetooth headset, you can try the following steps:

  1. Access the Settings menu: On your headset, press and hold the call button until the indicator light flashes.

  2. Find the Voice Prompts option: Using the volume buttons, navigate to the Voice Prompts option in the Settings menu.

  3. Turn off the Incoming Call voice: Use the volume buttons to turn off the Incoming Call voice. The indicator light will flash again to confirm that the setting has been saved.

Note: These steps may vary depending on the specific model of your Voyager 5200 series headset. Refer to the user manual for your specific model for more information. If these steps do not work, try resetting your headset to its factory settings.

To disable the "Incoming Call" voice prompts on your Voyager 5200 series Bluetooth ear/headset. Put your headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding the Call button until the LED flashes red/blue. Then, access the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone and locate the Voyager 5200 device. Tap on the settings icon next to the device name and look for an option related to call audio or voice prompts. Disable this option to turn off the "Incoming Call" voice prompts. If you can't find the option in your smartphone's settings, try downloading the Plantronics Hub app from your app store, as it may provide more customization options for your headset. Thanks
