Headset 4210/4310 issues

We have a large number of headsets which seem to constantly have issues. We have a combination of USBC and USBA dongles with our headsets.

 

The issues are as follow:
1. The dongle has trouble being detected - only resolution is to uninstall the port driver.
2. The headset can be quiet but microphone working fine while connected to the dongle or cable- - only resolution is to uninstall the port driver.
3. If we connect another headset to the same machine it has the same issues or sound works fine but microphone stops working.

 

The issues are random everyday but they are all reoccurring.

 

It's hard to identify if the issue is with the drivers, the laptop, the headset or software.

Has anyone had any similar issues? The only workaround we have is to keep uninstalling the drivers.

 

We have noticed a Unknown USB Device in Device manger but even with this, the headset still works for some people. - screenshot attached

The community contains individual sections dealing with the different products we offer Voice, Audio/Video, UC Infrastructure or Others .
