Coupling the headset's mute button with conferencing software (Microsoft Teams on MacBook)

I connected my Voyager Focus UC (Firmware v.713, Product ID 0127) with a MacBook Air M2 (Mac OS 12.6) via the integrated Bluetooth interface. Audio works well but the unmute button is not coupled with Microsoft Teams (Version 1.5.00.22362), i.e., when I unmute myself via the headset, I might still be muted in Teams, which is really annoying. This worked well when using the headset in conjunction with a PC and the USB dongle shipped with the headset. Any ideas how to get this working? Thanks!

Hello @tobi1 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The best results and full compatibility is archived when using a Poly Dongle only.

Have you tried the dongle with the Mac?

Thanks a lot Steffen for the quick reply. It works when connecting the headset via the dongle with the MacBook. However, as it only has USB-C connectors, this requires a cable-based adapter which is quite impractical. For this reason, a solution that works without the dongle (via integrated Bluetooth) would be highly appreciated

Hello @tobi1

Apple and/or Microsoft would need to add the relevant support into the MacOS or Teams

Best regards
